Back to the joint pain....at age 45, I gave birth to my third child via a C-Section. I have a 16 year old, a three year old, and a one year old. About 2 months after my daughter's birth, I developed gallstones. Gallstone attacks bring about an incredible amount of pain very suddenly - reminisient to labor pains. My Gastroenterologist said that gallstones were pretty common after pregnancy. I was fortunate in that I did not need to have it removed, and the stones moved along and the pain abided. About that same time, my hip joints really began to hurt. They felt so brittle and I had a very hard time getting up out of a chair, let alone getting up from the floor. My hips hurt all day long and at night that area would throb with pain and wake me up several times. None of the over the counter medicines, Motrin, Tylenol, etc, helped. Soon, my ankles began to hurt, but that pain would come and go. One day my ankle would hurt so bad that I would be limping, the next day it was gone or in the other ankle. Then, a couple of my fingers started aching. I'm right handed, but my left fingers began to feel stiff and they would throb. Some nights the pain in my fingers would wake me up. It was very strange, and I didn't understand why the pain would move around.
Soon after I began taking ThreeLac, I read an article about Jenny McCarthy's struggles with her autistic son. In the article she mentioned that she had been giving her son a supplement and that she had amazing results. Upon further research, I discovered that she indeed gave her son ThreeLac. I have some great links to articles, interviews, and books regarding her journey on my Autism & Threelac page.
The great thing about Global Health Trax (GHT) is that they are set up so that one may purchase any of their wonderful products at a Retail price or at a Wholesale/IBO (Independent Business Operator) price.
APRIL 2008...
Although I am always actively looking for products/supplements to improve my health, I had not been focused on Candida specifically. That is, until a dear friend suggested that my recent, and sudden, joint pains (hips, ankles, fingers, knees) might be related to Candida. I never knew that Candida could cause joint pain! I had actually researched Candida years ago, and had determined that I in fact had been plagued by it for a couple decades, at the very least, but I didn't recall that it could be the cause of joint pain. At that time, I also determined that I had an undiagnosed, underactive Thyroid. I began my quest to find solutions for Hypothyroid and, at the same time, tried the Candida diet. Over time, I stopped the Candida Diet, as it is hard to maintain, and I put all my focus on treating my Thyroid.
I know that Thyroid issues can bring about joint pain as well as contribute to Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS or CFIDS), Arthritis and such, but I was not willing to go down that road. As the months went on, I kept researching, but was unable to find out why I was having the joint pain. When my friend suggested that my joint pain my be related to Candida, a light bulb went off in my head! Instictively I knew she was right. Immediately I began researching Candida Symptoms and sure enough, she was right! At least I knew that I needed help with Candida! But....there are many, many treatment plans and many, many connections. I was reading all about Candida Treatments, Detoxes, Liver Flushes (and other flushes), Leaky Gut Syndrome, Parasites, Colon Cleanses, etc.
That spring, of 2008, I discovered ThreeLac and FiveLac Probiotics by Global Heath Trax. I did a ton of research, read through many forums, blogs, and testimonials and I decided to give the GHT products a try. There are many other 'Candida Relief' type products on the market, but after my extensive search, I felt most comfortable with this company. I was impressed with proprietary formulation which contains three strains of live lactic acid bacteria. And, that it was all in a proprietary microencapsulation delivery system so that the (good) bacteria gets into the intestines alive. Many probiotics fall short and the bacteria is not able to do it's job. Once the oxygen-friendly bacteria gets into the intestines, they begin working to eliminate anaerobic problem organisms like yeast and fungus. In addition, ThreeLac and FiveLac Probiotics help to balance the body's pH.
After a few days of taking the ThreeLac, I did notice some immediate relief in a few symptoms, buy mainly the diminishing joint pain in my hips, fingers and ankles! I was so excited that these products were working and that my hips weren't hurting so much. After a few more weeks many other symptoms started to subside. As I continued on this product, I felt more and more convinced that I had found a solution for most of my chronic problems.
So that brings us to today and to this website. I began this site to let others know what I have discovered, not only about Candida, but also about other ailments/diseases that contribute to and/or work hand-in-hand with Candida, such as Thyroid, Liver, Digestive, Weight, Fatigue, and Parasite (ick) issues.
The $39.95 price to 'join' as an IBO (thus purchasing at a wholesale price) was reasonable to me; and, the membership amount was made up in savings with my first couple purchases. Although I was technically an IBO, I did not look to market this product initially as my primary goal was to get healthy. As I noticed symptoms subsiding very quickly, I knew that I had finally found a solution. Once I determined that I in fact loved these products, I decided to offer them on the website I had in mind. Of course life gets in the way and this website has been slow to get built and is still in the works, so please bear with me.
In the meantime, please peruse what I have online so far and if you feel that Candida is a problem for you, give ThreeLac or FiveLac a try. GHT offers a 60 day money back guarantee so you can't go wrong. Anyone offering these products must sell them at these designated prices, so you won't find it any cheaper (and hopefully not more expensive) anywhere else. (Some sites allude to discounts, but if you read through them very carefully, you will see that they are not)
